Meet the country to have played in every world cup since 1930

 

The men's international football teams from each affiliated international federation compete in the World Cup every four years. Tournament competition began in 1930 and has continued every four years since (except 1942 and 1946). In 1930, Uruguay was victorious.


The Brazilian national team is the only one to have competed in every single edition of the FIFA World Cup. Moreover, Brazil has the highest overall performance in World Cup history, both in relative and absolute terms, with a record of 75 wins in 111 matches played, 127 goal difference, 243 points, and only 18 losses

Only eight different national teams have ever triumphed in the World Cup. Brazil is the only team to have participated in every event, and they have won five times. The World Cup is the most watched and followed single sporting event in history, and it also happens to be the most prestigious association football tournament in the world.

Brazil wins their first World Cup with a 5-2 victory over host nation Sweden on June 29, 1958. Favorites competing, Brazil wowed the world with their magnificent brand of soccer.
