As at 10pm on the 11th of January, 2021 there was a major retaliation by some angry mobs who took laws into their hands by burning down vehicles and cows of suspected Northern traders who probably were transporting their cows for business.

The reprisal attack on the Vehicle and burning it alongside the cows was as a result of an accident involving the truck and a Yoruba man known as Ayuba Raji who was riding on his Motorcycle commonly known as "Okada". The accident claimed the life of the victim.
